“Volunteering is at the very core of being a human. No one has made it through life without someone else’s help.”
– Heather French Henry
Our families form the cornerstone of our school community. They bring together not only the children who unite us but also the dedication, ideas, and enthusiasm that make Excelsior Primary School the exceptional learning environment we all value. Our P&C remains committed to continually enhancing our school and the experiences it provides for every student and family.
We recognise that our families lead busy lives, balancing work, parenting, school commitments, sports, and other daily responsibilities. However, to ensure the success of our upcoming fundraising initiatives, we invite you to contribute a small portion of your time and talents to support these events.
Not all our volunteers are able to help directly at events—and that’s okay! There are plenty of behind‑the‑scenes roles that need filling, from graphic design and printing to collating materials, arranging sponsors, and sourcing raffle prizes. Some families of our school community also prefer to contribute by donating money instead of time or resources.
We welcome all school parents to volunteer at our events – you don’t need to be a member! We appreciate all the extra hands to help set-up, run and take-down on the day of the event. It’s effort from all families involved that help make these events happen so successfully.

Participate when & how you can
All of our members have busy, working lives and volunteer when they have capacity. This may look like adhoc events throughout the year, helping with obtaining raffle donations or putting up posters at morning drop-off. Any bit helps!
