Our success is built on the support of our families – thank you for being part of the Excelsior community.
While we love (and rely on) some incredible individuals who help with almost every P&C activity (thank you – we appreciate you!) … the contribution of those who just volunteer once or twice through the year is just as important and valued.
If every parent or carer gave just an hour of their time each year we would have hundreds of hours of support towards our events & fundraising activities.

How can I learn more or join the P&C?
Come along to a meeting and get to know other families, take part in open discussions, and catch up on the Principal’s report. There’s absolutely no obligation to volunteer—just bring yourself! Meetings are a relaxed chance to learn more about school life and share what matters to you.
To become a member to vote on our decisions, you will need to simply complete a membership form with a gold coin donation. This is valid for the remainder of the school year.
Am I able to help out without becoming a member?
Our P&C hosts a variety of events throughout the year to bring our community together and support important fundraising efforts. We’re always grateful for an extra pair of hands—whether it’s cooking sausages, baking treats, or helping with set-up and pack-away. You’re welcome to sign up beforehand, or simply come along on the day, say hello, and jump in wherever you can!
I’m time poor – can I simply make a donation instead?
Our school is grateful for annual P&C donation per family at the beginning of the year and we truly appreciate all the support from families throughout the year at our events & fundraisers, such as the Tea Towel or Christmas Biscuit DIY Kits!
